Biography

My name is Marek Pawlik. I was born in Silesia, Poland, in 1978. Ever since I left school, I knew I wanted to be a tattooer—and I was determined to make that dream come true. I began experimenting at home, tattooing friends, myself, and more. In 1998, I opened my own studio, Sauron Tattoo Studio—one of the first professional tattoo shops in the region.

By 2000, I was attending tattoo conventions and have since had the privilege of winning over 100 awards worldwide for my unique tattooing style.

In 2015, I moved to the United States and opened Inkology Tattoo Art Gallery in Midtown Manhattan, NY. During this time, I had the honor of joining the Intenze Tattoo Ink and H2Ocean Pro Teams—two of the most recognized tattoo companies internationally.

In 2020, we opened Inkology Tattoo Art Gallery in Los Angeles, California. I’ve since relocated to the West Coast, where I am currently based and continuing to grow.
